This article is going to discuss some sensitive topics. Just because I have different opinions then you doesn’t mean I am a racist, a bigot, a xenophobe, a transphobe, a homophobe, or anything of the sort. I am fine with everyone doing their own thing. The problems for me arise when these groups try to infringe on my rights, and the rights of others. People use the dark triad to coerce people into forcing their beliefs onto others. People are afraid to think on their own and stand up to this Machiavellianistic agenda. This is simply an astrological explanation that comes to mind. So if you want to “cancel” me go ahead. If you want to read an alternative opinion and try to expand your mind, then please read on and thank you.

It’s safe to say that over the last 10-12  years,  the world has been crazy.  It’s increasingly difficult to distinguish what is real and what isn’t.  You can turn on one news channel, and it’s reporting the same news but in a totally different slant than another. People these days think conspiratorially, dipping into the realm of delusion.  Men think they are women, women think they are men; and everything else in between is “true.”  If you don’t play along, you are a “phobe” of some sort.  Speaking your own thoughts and expressing yourself rationally has become a cardinal sin– and this is a huge problem.

Whether it be the far right, the far left, Black Lives Matter, the Flat Earth Movement, it seems that logic is dying a slow, painful death.  Yes, I understand that many people have been marginalized over the course of humanity, but we are at the point where it is at an all time low.  Here in the U.S. disgusting things such as racism, sexism, and homophobia are so low that people are turning every rock trying to find something to grab their poster boards and sharpies to protest about. While the concept of generational trauma rings true, and many people have been affected by the misdeeds of the past, it seems that playing the victim is the go-to when dealing with these problems.

Astrology of course is vastly complex beyond current comprehension, we humans have spent millennia extrapolating the stars and their cryptic meaning. Before we look at Neptune in Pisces from a modern lens, let's take a step back and look at Neptune and Pisces from an individual standpoint.

Traditional Astrologers would say that Neptune in Pisces should be auspicious seeing that they are similar in nature and Neptune rules Pisces.  Anyone can tell that is not the whole truth looking at the current state of affairs around the world. Both Neptune and Pisces often represent mental illness, and delusional thinking.  Society seems to have made this strange shift where anyone can be whatever they feel like being.  The theoretical, yet obvious elephant in the room has to be the transgender community.

Again, I have no problem against people who are transgender, it’s the dogmatic approach the LGBTQ community has “advocating for the rights” of transgendered people where issues present itself.  Despite what people claim, gender dysphoria is a thing, and it's relatively rare.  Previously, I used to work in a psychiatric hospital, primarily in the unit that housed and treated children. Occasionally, a trans youth would come in, often with suicidal ideations, or they made an actual attempt on their life. One thing that is consistent, by the end of the week half of the kids on the unit would now identify as being trans. In other words, to a great degree, being trans is nothing more than an odd trend.  While I do see that some people legitimately struggle with gender dysphoria, is allowing them to believe that delusion really helping them? Yet a better question, is forcing others with coercion to acknowledge this person as their desired gender helpful? Is it right to infringe on the rights of many to accommodate the few?

Another odd phenomenon is the Furries movement. The Furries are humans who feel they were born as animals in the incorrect form. Furries dress in Disneyesque costumes and violate people’s boundaries by pouncing on people unprovoked.  Schools cater to these clowns even going as far as supplying litter boxes for the mentally ill to shit in. Once again, if you refuse to identify someone with the species they pretend to be you are… aniphobic? Beastaphobic? Not sure if they got around to making up or reassigning a new word to appease this hallucinatory bunch of bipedal critterfolk.  I’m not only here to pick on the far left, oh no, the right have some of their own hang ups as well.

Led by the Orange Emperor, Donald Trump; The far right seem to have lost their minds as well.  Throughout American history, no elderly man in his 70’s has been able to throw a fit for losing the presidency and inciting a riot on the capitol building.  This bunch of “patriots” have fallen deep down a rabbit hole that only a furry wished they could fit in. This group of Alt right seem to think that liberals are here destroying democracy, wanting to take their oh-so-precious guns and rights away. Now that I write this out… maybe they’re onto something.  This still doesn’t excuse their behavior of raiding the capital building of the United States.  Something else that both Neptune and Pisces are associated with is escapism. It's hard to walk down the street and not see someone buried into their phone, gobbling up all the nonsense that we consume daily.  We live in a world where people ignore reality and overindulge in social media.  People rarely socialize with one another and are over reliant on talking to other lonely people around the world through a screen– including myself.  Folks are looking for a quick and easy escape from reality, seeking their lost tribe over the internet. This leads to loneliness and isolation, making people more susceptible to political brainwashing.

Astrology is of course multifaceted, and it’s hard to pinpoint one transit on all the fatalistic whims that seem to be plaguing us. One of the scariest calamities that our communities face is the war on drugs.  Since the 1970s, the U.S. Government launched this assault that criminalized many drugs and have sent millions to prison.  Many of these offenses are of course, harmless cannabis use and distribution.  As time goes by, it seems that the government of the United States is on the side of the drugs!  With this purge of petty pot peddlers being put into profitable private prisons perpetually proliferating the purses of the pompous political profiteers, (say that 3 times as fast) themes of prisons and institutions also ring true to Neptunian and Piecesian themes. Corporations are also buying up real estate and building luxury housing, causing another epidemic of homelessness, driving good hard-working people out of house and home. Living on the streets is of course not the ideal situation to be in. One way people unfortunately cope is through drugs and alcohol.  Lets not forget the beginning of the opioid explosion with our Doctors pimping these poisonous pharmaceuticals.

Let’s catch our breath and step back and take a look at some other Astrological happenings that are contributing to this period of uncertainty and frustration.  We are in a weird period where our Lord of the Underworld, Pluto is transitioning back and forth between steadfast Capricorn, and ambiguous Aquarius.   I was born in such tumultuous times. Way back in 1984, Pluto was him-hawing between Scorpio and Libra.  Folks born in the Pluto in Scorpio a.k.a millennials, seemed to be a generation that took on a lot of burdens.  It seems we took the brunt of the student loan crisis, as well as the housing fall out.  One thing that is associated with millennials is that many of us struggle with substance abuse.  That’s not to say that other generations don’t share this burden, but the Pluto in Leo generation (baby boomers) definitely took the lion’s share of the wealth and prosperity. ( Oh look a pun!) Interestingly enough I was rereading some passages of Jeffrey Wolf Green’s book on Pluto and he said there will eventually come the time when the Boomers would be in charge and corruption will run rampant.

Let’s not go off on too many tangents, getting back on point; let’s look at other aspects of Neptune in Pisces. Another controversial topic that I would like to touch on are such groups as Black Lives Matter. Once again let me reiterate, I am not a racist. I am simply pointing out all the fallacies and hypocrisies of various groups from all walks of life. Stupidity and ignorance do not discriminate. Looking back at the history of the United States, we have a bloody and prejudiced past. Over the relatively short history of the U.S. I would say things have come a long way; however, it does seem we have been taken back a few steps. That’s all a part of the process, seeing that progress is not linear. Looking at various statistics, of course depending on the political swerve of the news outlet reporting; some say that an outrageous number of black people when compared to whites is exponentially higher when it comes to police fatalities. Other more neutral sources claim the number is about equal. Yet others state that whites are shot more often than blacks.  Who knows what the truth is? In fact, that is a huge factor when it comes to Neptunian energy. Things are often fabricated, left to be vague.  One thing seems consistent, Blacks are responsible for a large proportion of the crime. Again this is all dependent on who you ask; blacks make up approximately about 13% of the population, but commit anywhere from 50-70% of the homicides in the U.S.  I’m not saying racism doesn’t exist; however I do believe it is over exaggerated.

Another movement that greatly exaggerates oppression is the Me Too movement. Though it has seemed to have died down a bit, there is this belief that women are pure and are incapable of telling a lie. But the fact of the matter is that women are socially conditioned to lie.  Think about it,  How many women are direct and straight to the point? They are brought up not to be overassertive in order not to step on too many toes.  While some men may find this mindset refreshing,  many see a woman telling what’s on her mind and stating her needs as “emasculating.”  Personally, I struggle with Autism, or at least autistic traits.  Many women seem to have the expectation for men to be mind readers, and with my social hindrances, reading social cues and fleeting hints often go over my smoothly shaven head. When a woman is upfront with me and expresses her needs in a pragmatic way, I find it invigorating.  Sexual assault, in my opinion is abysmal, but there are a scary proportion of women out there that will cry wolf if you make eye contact a fraction of a second too long.

Earlier I brought up that I used to work in a mental hospital. While there, I overheard a woman talking to another patient. She was talking about how she was in school for computer science. (She was an INTP for any typology folks that may still be reading.) Long story short, I found her to be lovely. Not that I was going to cross the professional boundary and pursue her. Out of curiosity, I had to see the reason why she was hospitalized. To my surprise and absolute disgust, this lady tricked a man into having sex with her, and then black mailed him into killing her, or she would cry rape.  Again, I will reiterate the delusional thoughts that are floating around society. The thought that women are pure, and incapable of lying is absolute horse shit. While allegations of sexual assault should always be taken up with the upmost importance, many men have been left disparaged for no apparent reason besides the collective female narcissism.

One recurring theme that I have observed is that there seems to be a victim mindset, and that the “oppressed” are to face no consequences.  In the last paragraph we were speaking about women.  A part of my current job is to go to schools and assess children in need if they feel suicidal and experiencing any plethora of mental disturbances. It’s hard not to notice the lack of clothing that girls wear these days.  I couldn’t imagine being in school and trying to focus on my work when these scantily clad vixens walked around with nothing to hide. Where are these girls' parents?  One would think if women are so terrified of being sexually assaulted they would dress a bit more modestly. There is this strawman argument, or perhaps strawwoman argument that I am sure has no actual basis and is just propaganda floating around Feminist Subreddits. Such claims state that rapists never remember what women are wearing when they are raped.  While being sexually aggressive is often a display of power, and sometimes sexual gratification isn’t even a factor, I’m sure women wearing crop tops and micro skirts are sexually abused far more than a nun in a tunic and veil.

Another odd phenomenon that we have seen a drastic increase over the years is the prevalence of conspiracy theories.  It seems that many have reverted to the dark ages and believe that the Earth is flat.  Personally, I see the internet as the biggest double-edged sword in the course of humanity.  It is great that the World Wide Web connects the world and potentially anyone with an internet connection has a voice, the downside is that the internet connects the world and potentially anyone with an internet connection has a voice…  You can google almost anything or watch YouTube and learn a wide variety of skills that would have had a cap 25-30 years ago. On the other side of that coin, you have a delusional fool who has been off his antipsychotics far too long claiming that the world is flat and lizardmen are in charge– oops let’s not forget the lizard women too.  While I think it’s healthy to be conspiratorial to an extent, some people take things too far, and often resort to acts of violence.  There have been numerous conspiracy theories where 30 years ago that were seen as an unadulterated quackery, now have been exposed to the limelight. For instance, we have the Catholic church, which might just be the largest and oldest pedophile ring in human history. Let’s not mention Jeffrey Epstein and P. Diddy. I again think this is in conjunction with Pluto being in Capricorn, seeing that rich powerful men have been exposed for their taboo, grotesque, sexual acts.  The last thing I want my readers to think is that I am this sensationalist Astrologer that only speaks of the ills of the world to gain clicks and views, rest assured; that’s not the case.

One wonderful thing that has come from Neptune’s transit of Pisces is similar to the discovery of Neptune itself.  With Neptune being discovered in 1846, we witnessed a resurgence of spirituality around the world.  People were more attuned to their innate sentience, and occult; even taboo subjects such as seances, tarot, and Astrology surged in popularity.  Over the course of the last 5-10 years Astrology has been going through somewhat of a renaissance.  Rather than relying on some clergyman with his outdated Dogma to find meaning and purpose, people are digging deep and searching their own soul.  Though many people who read this may be irrational and will quickly scapegoat me as a transphobe, homophobe, or any other convenient title that fits their own distorted dogma. I’m simply pointing out all the logical fallacies of not only social justice warriors, but also conspiracy nuts, and the far right. It’s my belief that all humans are to be loved, valued, and accepted as who they are, and we should never resort to violence or cruelty to those who are different from us.  Maybe I will do a continuation of this article in the future, but for the sake of time I will exclude things such as global warming and the rising temperatures of the ocean seeing that Neptune is the Lord of the seas. There are many tangents I could go on correlating Neptune in Pisces, but let’s save that for another time. Thanks for reading.
